After nine long years, German band Unheilig are finally back with new music and have announced an extensive arena tour for fall-winter 2026/2027. The comeback single «Wunderschön» will be released on September 12th, 2025. New studio album «Liebe Glaube Monster» will be released on March 13th, 2026.
«“Wunderschön” is a song about friendship and connection. And the wonderful feeling and gift of embracing each other again after a long time without seeing each other. Sharing memories, feeling safe, looking to the future together, spending time together, feeling close to one another. I believe we all long for such moments and feelings. And are happy when we experience them. After my departure, I had these moments and this time together. With my family, with friends, with people I hadn't seen in a long time. But now I'm also incredibly excited to be able to share these feelings and moments with my fans again. Whom I've obviously missed over the years. And with people who have become important to me over the years, but whom I haven't seen that often in my private life. I simply had to capture this “Wunderschön” feeling in a song.»
«Wunderschön» is the first musical taster of the new album «Liebe Glaube Monster», which fans have been eagerly awaiting since Der Graf's comeback announcement in February. «Like every Unheilig album, the new studio album “Liebe Glaube Monster” is a concept album. I've had a lot of time over the past nine years to gather my inspiration and creative ideas and capture them in music. These are the themes and facets of my life that I want to share with people: my thoughts, experiences, dreams, adventures, fears, and emotions. Music has always been my language, and I find that best with music. And the album title seemed fitting to unite everything my new songs are about. Unheilig has always distinguished itself through a very broad musical range. From metal to pop, rock, and ballads to Schlager and punk rock, alternative music and electronic music, everything can be found in Unheilig's musicality. We've performed at Wacken and Carmen Nebel before; this apparent balancing act is part of the Unheilig DNA, and it remains so with “Liebe Glaube Monster”. Unheilig will embark on extensive tours in the coming months. The largely sold-out comeback concerts are scheduled for fall and winter 2025/2026, followed by numerous open-air shows in the summer. A major arena tour for the new album «Liebe Glaube Monster» will follow in fall/winter 2026/2027, with stops in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
