Fifteen years after his last performance in the Serbian capital, American electronic musician Moby made his triumphant return to Belgrade on July 21st, 2026, with his highly anticipated Live 2026 show.
At the spectacular event hosted by Charm Music Srbija, over 11,000 passionate fans gathered beneath the historic medieval walls of Kalemegdan Fortress, packed tightly into the Lower Town (Donji grad).
Local electronic duo Luton i Šćepa warmed up the early arrivals, but the real magic initiated when the iconic multi-instrumentalist emerged onto the massive open-air stage, immediately driving the crowd into a frenzy with the high-voltage opener «Bodyrock».
Show was 90-minute set, featuring a live band with heavy acoustic drums, violin, cello, and mesmerizing powerhouse vocalists who injected raw rave energy into timeless classics. Moby masterfully balanced nostalgia with a crisp, contemporary sound, transformed the fortress grounds into a massive rave. The emotional core of the evening lay in his deeply moving mid-tempo masterpieces.
Between tracks, Moby kept up his signature intimate stage banter, expressing deep gratitude for the venue, dedicated his breakthrough hit «Go» to filmmaker David Lynch, shared memories of his late friend and neighbor David Bowie before dedicating an acoustic-tinged performance of «Heroes» to him, and passionately reminded the crowd of his lifelong commitment to animal rights.
Moby ended with the explosive rave energy of «Feeling So Real», a track he proudly noted always serves as his ultimate signature finale for the Serbian crowd. Deeply moved by the roaring ovation, Moby thanked Belgrade for an unforgettable evening, solidifying this show as a definitive summer highlight.
