Norwegian band a-ha announced «True North» - filmed live-performance for future release as album and film in Autumn 2022.
«True North» will be filmed in the awesome landscape of Northern Norway in November 2021 and will be recorded in Bodø, the town above the Arctic Circle, the music from the film will be made available as a new a-ha album.
«We want this film to be a poetic homage to the importance that nature holds in Norwegian culture, and in particular the ocean, which has provided us with a privileged life up here, from the early fishing boom to the troublesome riches extracted from the seabed in the form of oil.»
a-ha «True North» features 12 brand new songs made in collaboration with Arktisk Filharmoni orchestra and Bodø 2024 team (Bodø will be European Capital of Culture 2024).
