Madonna «Confessions II» is the continuation of the iconic counterpart «Confessions on a Dance Floor» (2005). Album will be released as 12- or 16- track Standard CD, 16-track Deluxe CD, 12-track Standard Ruby Vinyl LP or Vinyl Picture Disc, 16-track Deluxe 2LP or Numbered Deluxe 2LP, and 16-track Standard Cassette.

«People think that dance music is superficial, but they’ve got it all wrong. The dance floor is not just a place, it’s a threshold: A ritualistic space where movement replaces language.»

Madonna

Dancefloor becomes a site of connection and transformation — a space where rhythm, repetition and movement take precedence over language. Drawing on the physical and communal aspects of club life, «Confessions II» leans into trance states, sustained grooves and the emotional pull of bass and light.

«When Stuart Price and I first started working on this record, this was our manifesto: We must dance, celebrate, and pray with our bodies. These are things that we've been doing for thousands of years — they really are spiritual practices. After all, the dance floor is a ritualistic space. It’s a place where you connect — with your wounds, with your fragility. To rave is an art. It's about pushing your limits and connecting to a community of like-minded people. Sound, light, and vibration. Reshape our perceptions. Pulling us into a trance-like state. The repetition of the bass, we don’t just hear it but we feel it. Altering our consciousness and dissolving ego and time.»

Madonna

Framed as both celebration and release, the album positions dance as a form of expression rooted in instinct and shared experience, shaped by decades of club tradition and Madonna’s enduring connection to it.
