Former Smiths frontman Morrissey will release his new studio album «Years of Refusal» on February 16th, 2009 via Decca / Polydor in UK and February 17th via Lost Highway in USA preceded by the single «I’m Throwing My Arms Around Paris» one week prior.

«No Line On The Horizon», the new studio album from U2, will be released on March 2nd, 2009.
Written and recorded in various locations, «No Line On The Horizon» is the band’s 12th studio album and is their first release since the 9 million selling album «How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb», released in late 2004.
Sessions for «No Line On The Horizon» began last year in Fez, Morocco, continued in the band’s own studio in Dublin, before moving to New York’s Platinum Sound Recording Studios, and finally being completed at Olympic Studios in London.
The album calls on the production talents of long-time collaborators Brian Eno and Danny Lanois, with additional production by Steve Lillywhite.
The album will come in 5 formats:

Recently Depeche Mode completed the record of their yet-untitled new album, slated for release this coming Spring. It will have about 12 tracks, including such titles as «Wrong», «Peace Will Come to Me», «Hole to Feed», «Comeback» and «In Chains». Though the band is increasingly fond of using guitars, the new CD may see a return to the DM's original analog synth roots — at least on a few tracks.
This week Depeche Mode are filming the video for the first single, «Wrong», with director Patrick Daughters (he known by his videos for Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Feist, Beck, Interpol, The Shins)

New Camouflage «Live in Dresden» will out as 2DVD + CD on January 23rd, 2009 via SPV. Almost 6 hours of material on 2DVDs and 1CD! The audio CD and first DVD contain a live recording of a concert which the band performed at Dresden's Reithalle. It's characteristic of the band that this concert didn’t turn into a pure «greatest hits» event, but contains, along with their most popular hits, selected highlights from 25 years of band history, such as «You Turn» or «The Perfect Key», which stylishly complement the overall picture and impressively document that Camouflage don’t just tell their story but continue to live intensely. Camouflage were supported on guitar by Volker Hinkel (Fool’s Garden), who also played the guitars on their albums, «Sensor» and Relocated», and on drums by Jochen Schmalbach, who had been on board during the Sensor Tour 2003 and was also responsible for the mix on «Relocated». Their as much unpretentious as powerful performance is enhanced by the second DVD, which contains not only all the band’s video clips in chronological order, but also rare unplugged clips and a number of TV appearances which show quite plainly the changes the band has gone through during the past two decades. A one-hour documentary about their Russian Tour in 2006 rounds off the picture and allows their fans a glimpse behind the curtains, giving impressions of life on the road and allowing insights into their lives.

Norwegian/US EBM act Combichrist announced their new album «Today We Are All Demons», which is scheduled for release on January 20th via Metropolis in USA and Out of Line in Europe.
From the opening notes of the driving «All Pain is Gone» and the sleazy, punk grooves of «Kickstart The Fight» (featuring Gen from The Genetorturers) to the Techno Body Music tinged beats of «Get Out Of My Head» and the darkly introspective title track, «Today We Are All Demons» proves that Combichrist is a force to be reckoned with.

Producer this time will be Sami Sirviö from the Swedish band Kent. Their new single «I'm Phoning a Friend, and He Says That», taken from the forthcoming album, was released on November 5th. Single is taking you back to the early 80's with it's electronic sound and Swedish melancholy.
