Our American favorites KMFDM, on the cusp of their 24th year, present their first full blown remix album ever, «Brimborium». The album features 13 tracks and clocks in at over 73 minutes running time, offering dancefloor freaks and ultra heavy beat fans a disc that is packed with remixes and never before released material.
«Brimborium» can be loosely translated as «something with no meaning or value», perhaps a comment on most bands’ approaches to a remix record, but not so with KMFDM! Aside from an all-star cast heavily reworking tracks on the CD, the accompanying booklet features explosive new artwork from Brute! and liner notes that tell the behind-the-scenes story of KMFDM’s Fan Phone. Once again KMFDM proves they are «the power you can trust!»

New L'ame Immortelle «Namenlos» album will out January 25th, 2008 via Trisol. It can be regarded as the musical and conceptual peak of their career as it deliberately combines the coarse style of the their beginnings with the qualities of their most successful album «Dann Habe Ich Umsonst Gelebt» and offers a mixture of hard but melodic electro sounds with aggressive and distorted male vocals and emotional melodies with Sonja's crystal-clear hymn-like voice.
Album comes in 2 versions: regular jewel case CD and Deluxe Double CD Digibook housed in a precious linen-bound box with special black hot foil debossing, 28-pages booklet, semi matte art print, including all lyrics and illustrations by Oliver Schlemmer Glassine and paper cover sheet with L'Ame Immortelle logo. Björk releases her brand new single «Declare Independence» on December 31st, 2007 via One Little Indian Records. The single comes presented in a super deluxe packaging including 2 x 12" Vinyls, a CD and a DVD featuring French director Michel Gondry's «Declare Independence» (he shot such videos as «Army Of Me» and «Hyperballad»). Taken from her new album »Volta», «Declare Independence» is written and produced by Björk, along with longtime collaborator Mark Bell.

Moby releases new single «Alice» on March 17th, 2008. This single is taken from his new album «Last Night» (out on March 10th, 2008 via Mute) and is a futuristic hip hop track featuring the UK based underground rappers the 419 Crew and Aynzil.
Moby on «Alice»: «The song «Alice» started with a mistake. There's this effect that I have, a very old proto-distortion pedal, and I was playing a bassline through it and there was something broken on the distortion pedal and it made this weird but fantastic feedback. So this song starts with this weird bass feedback, which is just a really happy mistake because it wasn't originally supposed to sound like that. After writing the track I then sent it out to Aynzli and the 419 Crew, who contributed their amazing vocals. Aynzli's style is so fast and so dense and fluid, I think that he's going to have a remarkable career. And what makes the 419 Crew so special is that they go back and forth between Yoruban and English (as they're from Nigeria).»

On their recent «In Transit» DVD, Covenant revealed that founding member Clas Nachmanson will leave the band. Band have started working on their next album and will enter the studio in February. Daniel Myer from Haujobb has been an on stage stand-in for Nachmanson for about a year now and will also be involved in the song writing for the forthcoming album.

Peter Spilles, Project Pitchfork frontman, once again did another side project called Santa Hates You, his Christmas special. Release called «You’re On The Naughty List» and takes you for a ride through scary and funny version of this winter holiday.
Santa Hates You actually sounds a lot like Project Pitchfork in many ways, like their use of similar-sounding synthesizers and deep rhythmic beats. Some of the lyrics can get funny at times, but overall they have a darker tone than you might be used to hearing from Project Pitchfork.
